Frequently Asked Questions
Do you offer online counselling throughout the UK?
Yes. I offer online counselling for adults across the UK. Sessions take place by secure video call, allowing you to access therapy from a private and comfortable space.
What issues can counselling help with?
Counselling can help with many emotional and mental health difficulties, including anxiety, depression, stress, low self-esteem, relationship problems, burnout, emotional overwhelm, anger, grief, life changes and feeling stuck.
I also support adults with ADHD, Autism and neurodivergence.
Do you specialise in ADHD and Autism?
Yes. ADHD and Autism are key areas of my counselling experience. I work with adults who are diagnosed, waiting for assessment, diagnosed later in life, or self-identify as neurodivergent.
My approach is neurodiversity-affirming, supportive and adapted to your individual needs.
Do I need a formal ADHD or Autism diagnosis?
No. You do not need a formal diagnosis to begin counselling. You may have a diagnosis, be waiting for an assessment, self-identify as neurodivergent, or simply be exploring whether ADHD or Autism may be part of your experience.
Counselling focuses on you, your feelings and your lived experience.
Can I work with you if I do not have ADHD or Autism?
Yes. Although I have a particular interest in ADHD, Autism and neurodivergence, I also work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, low self-esteem, relationship issues and other emotional difficulties.
What type of counselling do you offer?
I offer integrative counselling. My main approach is Person-Centred Counselling, and I may also use CBT-informed techniques where helpful.
This means we can explore your emotions and experiences while also developing practical tools to help you manage thoughts, feelings and everyday challenges.
What are online counselling sessions like?
Online counselling is similar to face-to-face counselling, but sessions take place by video call. Many people find online therapy more accessible, flexible and comfortable.
It can be especially useful if you experience anxiety, sensory sensitivities, low energy, mobility difficulties or a busy schedule.
How long is each session?
Each counselling session lasts 50 minutes.
How often do sessions take place?
Most clients attend weekly sessions, but we can discuss what works best for your needs and circumstances.
Is online counselling confidential?
Yes. Online counselling is confidential and delivered through a secure platform. I work in line with professional ethical guidelines to protect your privacy.
How much does counselling cost?
Sessions are £60 for 50 minutes. Student discounts are available. Please contact me for details.
How do I get started?
You can contact me to arrange a free, informal, no-obligation phone conversation. This gives you the chance to ask questions and decide whether I feel like the right counsellor for you.
